continued - the name of God
Yeshua appears to be the Aramaic version of the Hebrew name, Yashua.
Some demand that Yeshua is the true Hebrew name of Jesus.

(This link is certainly pro the use of Yeshua)
Modern Jews (Yehudim, perhaps orignally YAHudim, and apparently also referred to in ancient times as "Yahoos", (makes you think, doesn't it), who do not believe that Yeshua is Messiah, believe that they should not even write the name God. They will write G_d. They will not write Yah or Yahshua, because this would be using the name of God, which is for them forbidden. So, it is likely that when the fear of using God's name in vain entered the Hebrew world, it also impacted how Yahshua would be pronounced? I do not think it is offensive to mention the name Yeshua if you are a Jew, because Yah is the name of God and not Yeh, but I could be quite wrong about this. When Yahshua said before Abraham was "I am"- They wanted to stone him immediately. Was he using the name of God for himself? Was he uttering the divine name. He was by saying, before Abraham was I am, certainly provoking them to believe he was claiming divinity. Does not the name Yahshua also imply this and that it was Yahuwah in Yahshua, who was saving the world. No wonder Yahuwah's enemy wants to eradicate such a wonderful name and the connective link up of the names of the Father with the Son. This is my feeling anyway.
And what of those who pronounce YAHUWAH OR YEHOWAH in the modern day as Yehovah / Jehovah - i.e. Jehovah's Witnessess.
The oldest Hebrew apparently did not have a v sound.

Nor does Ancient Hebrew have a J sound

Jehovah is certainly a more modern German version of Yehowah
In fact according to this site and others, the J in German and the name Jesus only appeared for the first time in the 1600's. If you have not watched this video or read this article, why not do so now. They are both a quick watch and a quick read.

But is there an E in Hebrew
Well it appears that their are no actual vowels in Hebrew, so it is difficult to say how they were pronounced in ancient times.
But whether you choose to call God by name, with an E sound or an A sound, perhaps matters less than knowing the one you are calling on. It is still "God Yahuwah, who was in Messiah, Yeshua, who was reconciling the world to himself, and that cannot be disputed in scripture.
The Two, FATHER and SON are One.
NEVERTHELESS, WHETHER YOU CALL ON GOD AS YAHUWAH or YAHOWAH OR YASHUA OR JESUS, OR REFER TO MESSIAH AS CHRIST, THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO START TO GET TO KNOW GOD. YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. BORN OF WATER AND THE SPIRIT, YASHUA SAID. (SEE JOHN CH3 )
IT IS AS EASY AS LIFTING YOUR EYES TO HEAVEN AND SAYING, "I AM SORRY THAT I HAVE IGNORED YOU WHO MADE THE UNIVERSE. YOU ARE THE ONLY TRUE GOD AND I ACCEPT THAT YOU CAME IN THE FLESH TO DIE ON A CROSS, TO MAKE A BEAUTIFUL EXCHANGE. MY SINS WERE WASHED AWAY AND BURIED WITH YOU IN YOUR DEATH AND BY FAITH I CAN ALSO RISE WITH YOU IN YOUR RESURRECTION AND LIVE FOREVER IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. COME, YAHUWAH. COME YAHSHUA. LET YOUR SPIRIT COME AND LIVE WITHIN ME AND I GIVE ME LIFE. I GIVE YOU FULL CONTROL. THANK YOU FOR BEING MY NEW FATHER AND GOD. HALLELUYAH, I AM A NEW CREATION. OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY. EVERYTHING HAS BECOME NEW.
