There is nothing in life that has brought me closer to God than the act of worship. I have heard that the sages of of old used to say that like many sacrifices had to be completely consumed or burned, until their was nothing left, so our worship should leave us empty of all but Him. Surely this then is true Intimacy with Yahowah (Ancient Hebrew name of God) and what we should be aiming for when we worship. All of Him and nothing of us. This was Yahshua. He is the way the truth and the life.
Also, as in marriage, where sex can easily replace a relationship that passionately began with the intimacy of first love, so that, without male pursuit, the woman will slowly wilt like an unwatered flower, we should pursue God with passion to worship. Worship is more than singing and lifting one's hands or praising God for the great things he has done. It is a heart condition that comes from a life of pursuing. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 God is a rewarder of those that seek him. Is it not true: Some shout at ball games and they scream for all their stars Worship at the footstool of their houses and their cars But you have not lived or found true love, until you have met my God, reflected in my saviour: Yeshua Ha-Maschiach. Have the sense to lift your heart to heaven now and say, to Him who made the universe: "If you are real, reveal yourself to me and I will follow you." It was the best decision I ever made.
Thank you for letting me share with you. I look forward to your comment.

Lovely to hear from you, Amanda. Thanks for being so encouraging. It is a wonderful thought that others will share beyond to those I do not even know. Where in the Arab world are you and what are you doing there? Is it a peaceful or relatively dangerous place? Not that it is safe outside of our saviour, anywhere in the world, anymore.

Inspired by the only One that can Inspire continuously without getting weary- the Holy Spirit! May you be able to continue to praise and glorify Jesus by song (and deed).

Thank you Travice. I will strive to enter our Lord's rest, that the continuation of this blog may not be a weary striving, but a joy in Him. For I have been in business and so much other foolish striving, in spite of the fact that God showed me myself in scripture many years ago:
